Spanish Queen

Inspired by my Spanish heritage. My family on both sides has been in America for several generations but with each generation that passes it can be easy to lose the vibrancy of your culture. It's a painful experience to feel between two worlds of not being fully Spanish and not being fully American. To clarify - my Mother's family is Mexican and my Father's side is Spanish - so in many ways I felt a pull to be part of three worlds culturally. It took me many years to fully understand why I felt the way I did in my adolescence and I have come to the realization that I have the best of all of these worlds even if I am not fully of them. They are all a part of me.
