Slow Morning
20 x 24 in | 50.8 x 60.96 cm | Acrylic on Canvas | 2024
Who doesn't love the feeling of not having to be somewhere when they wake up? For so many years I raced out my front door without taking a moment for myself. I commuted during peak commute hours across the Bay Bridge for 7 years straight via my car sitting in traffic on the bridge at 8AM and then 5PM on the way back or under the bridge via BART packed into the train like I was cattle and smelling someones armpit. Both really sucked and the weekday grind can be so very tough. I cherish slow mornings A LOT and I never take them for granted.
